Squash competition for male members of the Watsonian Squash Rackets Club in Edinburgh. The winner is presented with the Watsonian Squash Club Open Champion Shield, donated by R.M.Morrison in 1966.

This competition was originally due to be played in October 2023, but we had no squash courts at that time. We have courts now, so it's time to play.

The plan is to start playing matches in late August/early September, and to play the final of the competition before a club dinner/social event, at Myreside, on Friday 20 September 2024.

The exact format of the competition is still to be agreed with the players. There may be a plate competition for people who lose their first match. This will depend on numbers and organisational skills.

If anybody is unable to play, maybe because of a positive covid test, then please withdraw gracefully from the competition to make sure that all matches are played on time.
