About
In addition to the rules of 2022, please note the following applicable to the inter provincials :
1. KZN Trials format will be a knock out draw. There will not be a feed in back draw format.
2. IPT Tour fees are in the region of R5000 excluding kit.
3. If a player who is selected for the respective teams withdraws for any reason other than medical (with a doctors certificate), the parent will be liable for 50% of the tour fee payable end November
Rules:
The trials tournament is open to players who reside or school within the KZN district boundaries only.
ONLY players available for the IPT from 10-13 Jan 2024 are eligible to enter.
The tournament entry is done on Sportyhq and all TSA rules apply.
Main draw is limited to 32 players (28 + 4 wild cards). Should more than 32 players wish to enter the following will be considered when determining the final draw:
• previous KZN achievements, district ranking, school ranking and TSA ranking.
• The decision of the KZN Schools Tennis executive is final.
Entry is open to registered TSA players only (tournament or scholar). Players must be bona fide scholars or registered home schoolers.
All coaches accompanying kids must be qualified and registered on www.tennissa.co.za list of KZN coaches.
In order to participate, the player must be a school tennis player in good standing with KZN Tennis and TSA.
